All these folks who put down the original stereo mix had/have wax buildup in their ears; that especially goes for John and George who's extremely opinionated mind sets often find them way off base with their assessments of things Beatle-related. I enjoy the original mono mix as the valuable musical timepiece that it is...but the stereo mix is tighter, cleaner and much more organized sounding. In making the new mix, Giles took a lot from the mono but also took from the original stereo..he did a good job, IMO. But the original stereo mix is far from the "disaster" certain people (especially within the Beatles' camp) make it out to be. far as the new mix bettering the original, that's strictly a matter of opinion. But whether it has bettered it or not, the original should be in the YouTube "collection" as a matter of history. By the way, we *are* in TOTAL agreement about Pet Sounds. I'll never get how people feel the cluttered, muffled mono mix is so fabulous. But again...opinions, opinions.

Love contains the two bonus tracks that used to be exclusive to the iTunes Store.

I dont think the stereo version of SPLHB is the greatest thing ever. I think the remix is terrible.

Pet Sounds, thats a different can of do you like worms...

In today's "People Present Opinion as Fact" segment ...

Oh, and apparently I'm not a fan worth my salt. So thanks for that little tidbit of wisdom as well. Hell, if we're going that route, no fan is listening to The Beatles albums on YT anyway.

Also "Revolution" and "Back in the U.S.S.R." are the longer versions from the Love DVD, not the shortened versions on the CD.

It has ceased to be. It has expired and gone to meet its maker. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. It's rung down the curtain and gone to join the choir invisible. It's off the twig. It's curled up its tootsies. It's shuffled off this mortal coil. It f**king snuffed it!

At least for "Revolution" it looks like they put the promo version up, not the "Love" version. A few other songs are like this.

It scrolls, see the arrow on the right side? PPM is not among the scrolling albums, however.

It's Pushing up daisies. It's played its last CD player. It was left in the hot car. It's seen it's last Steve Hoffman thread. It went for a walk and never came back...
