    1. Nothing, yet. But I plan to check out the new Van Morrison/Joey DeFrancesco, the new Brandi Carlisle, and the new Buddy Guy soon.

    2. The Who - Fillmore 1968, Neil Young - Roxy, and the (digital only, so far) reissues of Michael Nesmith’s first six solo albums (all with really cool bonus tracks!). Good sound compared to previous reissues. A shame there are no CDs though.

    3. Looking forward to new Tedeschi Trucks Band, the forthcoming Grateful Dead Pacific Northwest ‘73-‘74 box, the expected Springsteen Roxy ‘78 archival release next month, and the Dylan Blood on the Tracks box someone else mentioned here (Is that for sure?). Oh, and maybe the White Album box, depending what else will be included.

It should still count because the Church defies convention and always will, but that's actually from October (EDIT: typed September by mistake) of 2017. Still within a year, though!

I'm just realizing I can't think of any new album from this year that I own. I have the Flaming Lips' 83-85 Scratching The Door comp and I'm awaiting the 6 CD box set Seeing The Unseeable on Friday, but the only new album I can even think of is Van Morrison's You're Driving Me Crazy, which has a hilarious cover but I haven't heard a note of it.

Probably CZARFACE & MF DOOM - Czarface Meets Metal Face for #1.
Enjoying the hell out of this one and it keeps getting replays to this day.

Nothing I can think of for #2 and probably the new Coltrane for #3. Then in a week #3 will be redirected again (as it has a few times now).

In theory! Both those and the Lilac Time album have been promised for a while. Hoping this year is the year for at least one of them.

If so, no word yet. A fairly big deal was made about Sundazed reissuing Nez’s first three (The three First National Band albums) on vinyl, but the dowwnloads of the first six albums (So, it’s Magnetic South thru Pretty Much You Standard Ranch Stash) just quietly appeared on iTunes, Amazon AND on HD Tracks only a few weeks ago. Each album containing some really cool, and surprising, bonus tracks.

But no word on possible CDs yet. May be a sign of the times, sadly.

No reissue of The Prison yet either, but I hope that will happen and I hope it will be the original mix from the 70s.

Also, upcoming is the CD/vinyl release of the FNB Redux show from The Troubadour (LA) earlier this year. Heard great things about that mini-tour, so I am looking forward to that too:

Van plugging his ears while Joey blares away, I imagine. Joey is literally driving Van crazy?

Well, someone else is literally driving (the car) but you know what I mean.

    1. Girls Names - Stains on Silence (though I wouldn't say this is like a masterpiece or anything)
    2. Felt - Ignite the Seven Cannons LP (w/ some tracks remixed)
    3. Wire - Chairs Missing LP (let's say that I'm looking forward to this, but with a heavy dose of caution)

(So far) I can only answer the third question, which, to me, is the 50th anniversary box set of the Beatles' White Album and (though not confirmed yet) the remix(es) of Pink Floyd's Animals, hopefully with bonus material.
