I’m confused. How do I tell the ab Santa Maria pressing? Are the ones that don’t have Aa1006 on the back of the cover the best?
That's an odd one. Columbia Santa Maria labels. A CSM etching in the deadwax would help confirm this was indeed pressed at that plant.
What matters is the deadwax matrix, it should be AB or AB̶ A, thats whats an original metalwork press.
Probably another lacquer.
