I have Rainbow Concert and Kampuchea. I would add The Guess Who Live at the Paramount, Wattstax, Live at CBGB's, and numerous live folk, country, and jazz albums.

I have all of these except the Slade and Santana ones. Leon signed my copy of his triple live album. All of these are more than worthwhile.

Rarely discussed, but very unusual. Smooth Brazilian tropicália meets... early Grand Funk Railroad.

Brothers and sisters, Gal Costa - "A Todo Vapor" (1971)! :D

It's certainly his more durable electric live album.

I have only Eric Clapton - Rainbow Concert
And, in my opinion, its neither a good live album nor a good Clapton album in general. The man was too strung out on drugs and booze.
At best I would rate it a solid 3 (out of 5).

My list of live albums great live albums looks completely different than yours:

    Curtis Mayfield - Curtis Live
    Grateful Dead - Live/Dead
Van Morrison - It's Too Late To Stop Now
Allman' Brothers - Eat A Peach
BB King - Live At Regals
Lou Reed - Rock 'n' Roll Animal
David Bowie - Stage (the phenomenal take on Heroes places it on this list)
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same
Jackson Browne - Running On Empty
    Neil Young - Massey Hall

For the best of Crosby Nash acoustic, try finding Another Stoney Evening. It is a 1971 concert with just the two of them . Basically, stoned to the gills, they come through with flying colors on Wooden Ships, Laughing and fifteen others. Just goofballs in your living room. Right now the Amazon release is a CD-R. Of course finding the original would be nice, but this will do in a pinch.

There are a some grey area releases that come through Europe. They can be hit an miss. One fo the best is Crosby Nash The San Francisco Boradcast. Young shows up at the end. Quality of release can vary. Be careful!

As to the band, The Mighty Jitters. I don't believe they ever released anything under their own name or under another. However, they are a legendary group of studio musicians. Lindley is on almost all of Jackson Browne's releases, Kortchmar can be found with Henley on his firstand especially James Taylor's work. Google the names individually and you will see. Good luck.

When I was around 15, there was a Sunday morning watching TV. On a local channel ("Canal 13") there was a program called "Creaciones".
I saw a band named Flairck. I was BLOWN AWAY. Never seen a guitarist before changing the guitar tuning WHILE PLAYING, creating such an amazing effect. And then the rendition of one of the most popular songs here "Los Momentos". Simply sublime.

Later I discovered that the band actually released a double live album from those 2 wonderful concerts in Santiago, Chile 1995. I think it was the very first European band to release a live album from my country.

Such a pity that it's been out of print for ages, and it was never released here

Re: Zappa Helsinki, I'm not so big on that one. It's selling is basically Roxy & Elsewhere but faster. Well, Roxy is just fine the way it is, I don't need it faster nor with a 24 minute Dupree's Paradise.
