Lou Reed Live actually has a better song selection than Rock and Roll Animal (from the same show), but doesnt have the famous Sweet Jane intro.

No rankin, just some that I really listen to more often than most others

    Led Zeppelin - BBC 1971
    David Bowie - Santa Monica
    David Bowie - Nassau Collisseum
Crowded House - Farewell to the World
Queen - Rainbow 1974 (used to be my favorite bootleg)
    Rolling Stones - Brussel 1973

No it doesn't. In fact it does not have Rock and Roll, nor Heroin either. So those three classics not included could never made it better than RR Animal in my book.

The track list is what makes this album great. Record buyers seem to agree on this.

Good pick on the obscure Wishbone Ash Live In Tokyo. I like the BBA Live In Japan as well.

All deep in the collection. The Nils live promo ruined his solo career because it was better than any studio album he was able to come up with. Just a great sounding raw live session with Al Kooper on piano I think.

Having my entire collection on hard drives and server has made it so much fun to crank out the obscure things that used to be rarely played. Now if I want to hear 801 Live it's as easy as typing in 801 and clicking on that title. Mix it with June '74 Eno and it's a blast of avant-rock live!

I own Clapton's Rainbow Concert on CD, and Beck's Live at Ronnie Scott's on DVD, but that's it....
The only other one on the list that I'd be interested in would be BB King.

I've got #5 and #10 and I wouldn't mind having #4 as well. As for the remaining seven, I'm not really sure I should have them in my collection. In all likelihood these are nice albums and some of them I might even like, but somehow the idea of obligation in relation to music seems alien to me. Whatever albums I have, I want to own voluntarily, without anyone pushing me.

"Vicious" is pretty vicious. I rate them about the same. Live is strangely lower on the critical totem pole despite having equal quality performances. Must be the famous intro as you say,
