100 Metal Albums -- How Many Have You Heard?

56 here - but I don't listen to any Sabbath or Priest.

 

I own 54. I've heard at least one track from all but one or two... heard the entire album from probably 90 or so.

 

I am dead sure I've heard 4, and think I've heard 3 others.

Not much Bathory, Sepultura, Venom, Iced Earth.
If I had counted those I've heard in part, probably closer to 70.

I own 27 of the 100 on the list. I've heard a dozen or so more, but for these list things I only ever count what I own. I'm surprised the number is that high, I don't usually consider myself someone who listens to metal music, but I do enjoy Black Sabbath/Ozzy and Metallica (the majority of my entries on the list).

 

12 the majority of which were released in the 70's and are more 'heavy rock' than metal.

I have heard 21 so not so many and track from many others. In my youth a metal list would have always included Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple!
