Dreadful. In fact, worse than dreadful, embarrassing.

I only own one, The Final Cut, the very last title on the list... Almost got away with being normal there for a moment. The Final Cut is in my personal Top 100 of All-Time though.

I have about a third of them. They're all interesting enough that I now need to heat the other two thirds.

Especially keen to hear Having Fun with Elvis on Stage.

The whole list could be Jandek albums.

Tough to agree or disagree without a working knowledge of what they mean by "weird". There are obvious novelties on this list, outsider musicians, genre experiments, and people whose entire careers are "weird".

Still, interesting list that I will indeed delve into.

I don't understand Husker Du or The Beatles being on there.

I thought I was weird but apparently not that bad. I have The Pope Smokes Dope and The Final Cut but not by choice, they came in large lot buys and I haven't been able to get rid of them.

I'm in for nine, though I'm sure I have weirder albums that didn't make the list.

That Robert Mitchum calypso album is actually kinda fun.

I have (or used to have) 8 of them, and I don't think any of those 8 are 'weird'. Some are just not very good (Zinc Alloy, Final Cut, Trout Mask), but not my idea of weird. I have weirder stuff than that - Psychic TV, SPK. Todd's AWATS is brilliant, but not in any way weird. IMO.

Who the hell are these idiots making these lists?

Any list with The Fall on it is OK with me!

Not sure about the criteria, I guess by definition most here will hate this list as it isn't traditional rock music.

And, without reading the article, they are not saying these are all great albums, just weird albums.

I have about a third of these and I still think this list is totally random and pointless. Since when was "Cow Thief Skank" an album though? It's one track surely?

What's weird about "Dragnet" by the Fall? Why is Throbbing Gristle's most accessible album on the list? Etc etc etc.

I suppose the rational with Zen Arcade is the anomaly of a hard core punk band doing an epic rock opera type album.
