With Classic Records' Led Zep LP's, is there a difference/advantage between choosing either the 180G LP's or the 200G LP's?

I bought the 180's when they came out and loved them. I personally wish Classic would stop pressing 200's though. I have not been able to hear that it makes a difference in the bass or anything. Plus the cost of the LP's is higher because of it.

If you have your VTA optimized for any other weight below that (like I do), the 200's tend to sound a duller and murky because the VTA is lower than the optimim setting for your cartridge.

A compromise is to set your VTA for 180's, then it is not as low for 200's, but it makes the normal weight LP's sound brighter.

Incidently most of my best sounding Lp's are normal weight.
