This was very, very difficult. It was between Plastic Ono band, McCartney and Let it be.

My knee-jerk reaction was to just vote for "McCartney", but I went with "Plastic Ono band"

Own many, love most! Voted for Badfinger's No Dice - I've no doubt that I've listened to that album more than the rest combined.

Though I voted for the Harrison album, I love that John Phillips' LP. So very "1970".

Fave tracks: "April Anne" and "Somebody's Sleeping"

It has to be "other" for A Question of Balance by the Moody Blues. From the poll picks, All Things Must Pass by George Harrison and Shazam by the Move were tempting.

Wanted to vote for Led Zeppelin II, but eventually picked Loaded by VU.

Voted Led but so many choices. Here's a question... What was the last year 3 truly monumental classic albums were released let alone, what? Ten?

SHOULD'VE been in the poll!! (Sorry for shouting... ;))

But I think it would have got a large share of the overall vote.

It deserves to come out on top- just for Machine Gun. :)

This one was a lot more difficult that the other years. I went with Badfinger - No Dice. Close runners-up included Let It Be, Layla, and McCartney.

I know it's a cliche to say "it's too hard to pick a favourite", but.... considering that I have more albums from 1970 in my collection than from any other year, I'd say the "too many favourites" claim is applicable for me here. ;)
