I can help you pair it down to TEN:

Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Volume II, which was released in 1971, and which I love (the new SH~Mastered SACD is to die for), is all songs recorded from the Sixties, except for about five. Therefore it should go.

Likewise, although I love Nilsson's Aerial Pandemonium Ballet, it is just remixes of his Sixties albums.

Then, I got it down to TEN for ya!

Exactly! Music was something to savor and we really did sacrifice to buy our albums. ..and we would wear the grooves out of them.. Sgt Pepper..! I must have played it a 1000 times the first week.

 

So, what WAS the best year of that era from say 65 through to maybe 73 or 74?.
