1992-2001 - How would you rate it in terms of film?

I'd add the BIG FOUR of TV to this 'golden era':
-The Simpsons
-Seinfeld
-Friends
&
-The X-Files

 

I think it's a great decade for movies, one of the greatest and my favourite one. Plenty of variation and all genres were done right, 'though on each genre we have some turds.
I think one of the highlights of the 90's is Seven, never a thriller had been so good, so masterfully directed, performed and photographed.
But there we have American Beauty, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Terminator 2, Gattaca (I couldn't avoid naming this one, a favourite of mine for almost 20 years), Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Magnolia, Jurassic Park, L.A. Confidential, The Game...
