oops. referring to cannonball adderley's "know what I mean" featuring bill evans on piano.

K2 20 bit version VS. CD redbook layer of the new Doug Sax SACD transfer

how do the redbook layers sound when compared? which is better?

I'd try and find the DCC Version. It sounds the best to my ears.

Except that it's pretty hard to find the DCC. I would go for the SACD, not that I've heard it or the K2. The SACD would HAVE to be better than the US K2 in cardboard outer sleeve (I'm assuming it's available in that series). The Japanese K2 in LP facsimile might be obtainable, and would be a decent alternative.

I've no doubt the DCC would sound great - what do you have to pay to get one these days?
