    PETER MURPHY DUST

    (2002)

Apart from the two re-recordings tacked on the end, his best album.
Get rid of those two and put out a great sounding LP, no chance but I wish...

I would like to see reissues of those great Vinyl Film releases Cameron Crowe put out a decade ago especially his Untitled soundtrack and most importantly the Harold and Maude soundtrack that I passed on multiple times cause I was young and stupid.
Also some obvious ones and not so obvious ones:
    R.E.M. - New Adventures in Hi-Fi (I have a sealed original that I can't bear to open)
Beck - Midnite Vultures (it will happen)
    Fiona - When the Pawn...
    Tool - Lateralus
    Lucinda Williams - Car Wheels...
    Cure - Galore
Teenage Fanclub - 4766 seconds (best of)
John Phillips - Wolfking of LA (this desperately needs a audiophile label treatment)

Last but not least...DGC Rarities Vol. 1
This would make a fun RSD release. This comp has some amazing tracks on it. The lineup of artists will blow your socks off and they gave great tracks to be included on this release. It's time to be able to hear Counting Crows best song on vinyl.

I do too. Every time they snag a great 90's album I weep a little cause I know that means it's off the table for years. They will exist as long as the vinyl boom is in full force and it's not slowing down anytime soon.

Wouldn't mind seeing Ride's Carnival Of Light getting the reissue treatment as well.

Only pressing seems to be the original 2LP on Creation in 1994, long out of print.

While were at it, Swervedriver's Ejector Seat Reservation as well--used original costs quite a bit.

Half the albums I listed were from the 90s or 00s, so I will assume that I am half crazy.

PJ Harvey - Dry. Wasn't a re-issue programme mentioned a while ago and then dropped?
V/A - The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert soundtrack. Never been on vinyl AFAIK. Its 25th anniversary is coming up soon..
U2 - Pop, Original Soundtracks I, Zooropa and All That...yes, they were released on vinyl but in small numbers and so they go for silly money these days (I'd add Achtung Baby in there too but I now have it!)
Prince - The Black Album, The Gold Experience, Symbol, Diamonds & Pearls etc etc

I don't think Tori Amos's albums came out on vinyl from Strange Little Girls through The Beepkeeper. And To Venus and Back was a single picture disc that omitted the live material*.

*Edit: Plus it may have been a boot.

Yea, looks like it was just reissued in 2014. This thread title should really be changed since most people are asking for reissues of things that have been on vinyl before, and some still readily available.

It's always expensive. But an original Philips has a fullness in the SQ that you can't find anywhere else, even if it was especially recorded all that well. I've love to see an audiophile reissue of it in the hands of SH, Kevin Gray ... but at this point I'm not holding my breath.

Used to have that, too, but it has been decades. I believe most of what's on Alabama Bound has been recently reissued on an LP titled The Limit Of The Marvelous on UK Beat/Ace. SQ is a tad better than the EVA IIRC, but none of that Kapp era stuff was recorded especially well IMO.

I'd like to have this. It's really the only one I've heard by him that I really like all the way through.

Well, the Blue Cheer's Vincebus Eruptum recently came out on AF, so maybe there is hope. Or maybe Sundazed will do it. They've rescued some rare Philles albums.

Randy Newman's "Good Old Boys" was just reissued. :) I grabbed it and ran to the cash register. First listen to this one since the late 70's
