$3K Devialet Bluetooth Speaker Destroyed on YouTube

This video is very difficult to watch. I apologize in advance to forwarding it. It appears that a speaker was harmed during the filming of this abomination. Seriously... why would anyone waste such a thing just for a few likes/views.....

 

Why? Ad revenue!

 

Who the hell knows? I forced myself to watch it till the end, and I can say the thing is pretty cool on the inside. I counted at least 4 voice coils... Coax tweeter/midrange in front and the 'woofers' on the side.

 

Which is why I won't watch it.

 

One of my local dealers sells them. Only impressive aspect of their sound is the bass extension for its size. The crazy thing is the housing really does remain completely inert when those woofers are flapping at high volume.

 

Is this for real? Please tell me the speaker was a mock-up! Even if it was, it's one of the most intensely annoying videos I've ever seen.

 

What's up with the awful clickbait titles and thumbnails these days?

 

I wonder how many meals 3k bucks could buy people in need.

 

They destroy one of those expensive Dyson fans in another video. My guess is either they don't pay for the stuff or are earning a ton of money from their channel. Well they prove how little buyers are getting for the money.
