I'm in for the bonus tracks only if the remix is even a shadow of the Sgt. Pepper one.

 

All I'll say is patience is a virtue. Unfortunately there will be no helpful hinting this year for reasons beyond our control

 

So November then.

 

Well I keep searching the web for its eventual release.

 

Hope not, hopefully a June summer kickoff.

 

I made predictions in an earlier post, down to the day for:

*heavy pre-announcement rumors
*official announcement and
*release date.

I will be proven correct!

 

The Stones should do a tribute to that all btw.
"I see a box set and just want to paint it white."

 

Stones tribute for the White Album 50: perform a live awesome kick a_s version of Helter Skelter.

 

Sounds somewhat similar to what Yoko said about the release of Let It Be on bluray!

 

Now that would be interesting.

I have not seen Shaddam's prediction. I stay away from predictions

For what it's worth (probably nothing): My guess concerning announcement / release dates:

*‎September 25, 2018 (Tuesday): release date and formats announced for the 50th Anniversary Edition of the WA, following a week of fueled speculation

*‎November 16, 2018 (Friday): release date

This is based on an analysis and comparison of the original Pepper release, and Pepper 50th announcement and release, dates, and of course there's nothing that says the WA 50th has to follow that model, or that it's even going to happen (it is).

What I'm trying to say, is I think we're in for a bit of a wait, and no one is going to have anything left to say once the official thread starts.*

*Kidding, this forum will never run out of Beatle words to say.

The very last Beatles album I got. It’s ok. Some really great music, some not so great. Would have been an incredible single album

 

No doubt there still working on it,busy white coat people they are with the occasional break for tea and crumpets.

 

my fav track...EGSTHEFMAMM...no other track shakes the house like this one! Damn.

 

This would have been a GREAT song to play live at the Roundhouse concert they planned for Dec. 1968!

 

LOL...back when this came out on street date I was hoping for a triple album...it was fabulous...I can still remember first playing it on my parents AM/FM/TV Consul (tube) Stereo...it rocked!
