    Yep, that's when I got mine.

I was reading an old thread about the 10 year White Vinyl release, man I'm seriously thinking about it.
Been looking at both eBay and Discogs :agree:

White Album is unlike any other Beatles album. It's definitely their most stupendous achievement, not only by the number of tracks crammed in there.

Maybe some forum Apple insider can help with the speculation packaging ie; what's its going to consist of ?

Dunno why Apple shunned Anniversary's of Revolver & Rubber Soul. I'll be intrigued what's in store for Let It Be 50th Anniversary 2020, that should be very interesting..but no nekkid, please!!!

Agreed! Its diversity is what makes "The BEATLES" so very engaging, entertaining, and interesting. I read once that many critics in the day complained that the album was very eratic. One thing is for certain and that is that "The BEATLES" defied convention then and does even more so today. It's a teriffic album!

If a remix is produced, I'm out. On the other hand, if a respectfully remastered super expanded edition surfaces, I'm in.

Then consider yourself out. Remix is the way of these releases. Remasters happened 9 years ago.

Right then, I'll produce my own 50th anniversary featuring the original mix along with bonus material from the Anthology and upcoming release. By the way, my favorite CD release of "The BEATLES" is the 35th anniversary edition, which has the same mastering as the original '87 version, but with corrected indexing and superior packaging. It's the definitive CD version as far as I'm concerned.

It was only 20 years ago, 1998..when the 30th Anniversary WA cd( plastic slip case )was released. Not much of a hurrah then.

It was 30th anniversary edition (it came out in 1998). I have it and it's my preferred CD stereo version too. I prefer that and the 87 CDs of Abbey Road and Pepper over their remasters counterparts.

Interesting observation regarding remasters. Partial to the fatboy cd( foam inner) myself.

I would say that they are working on it as well. Even though an advance release date may exist, anyone who watches these things know that these dates can always change as project gets nearer to finish and release

They did honor the release date last year with the Sgt Peppers 50th box.
Nov 22 seems like a long ways away and I think they would like more than a month to promote and get them delivered by Christmas.
I'm sure Christmas sales are a major factor from what they learned last year how well Peppers sold the week prior to Father's Day but then again that was into only the 3rd week.
So maybe there is a chance at an earlier release date over Nov 22.

They will have plenty of time for X-mas sales. Nov 22 is not the date

No. That's different because Revolver isn't "one of the best" Beatles albums, it's THE best one. :D
