Where’s Hey Jude/Revolution? Also Doesn’t look like the take of Revolution 1 we were hoping for. I wonder what take of Ob La Di we’re getting. Hopefully the mostly unheard re-remake.... Chris
Giles says, “In remixing The White Album, we’ve tried to bring you as close as possible to The Beatles in the studio. We’ve peeled back the layers of the ‘Glass Onion’ with the hope of immersing old and new listeners into one of the most diverse and inspiring albums ever made.”
Dear Prudence (Vocal, guitar & drums) Should be lovely. Stuff like this and the "Birthday" and "USSR" instrumentals will probably make a lot more playlists than the typical Pepper outtake.
Gladly pre-ordered this morning on Amazon. Remember, folks, using smile.amazon.com means Mr. Bezos will be donating a few pennies to the charity of your choice. If I have a disappointment at this point it’s that this set doesn’t include an entire disc of “Dear Prudence” takes, demos, stems, etc. Of course that’s not an unreasonable desire. Right? Right? Oh. This and so many other interesting possibilities make up for it.
No extra chatter nor extra outtake-related material. The Blu-ray will contain: - 2018 album mix in high-resolution PCM stereo - 2018 DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 album mix - 2018 Dolby True HD 5.1 album mix - 2018 direct transfer of the original mono mix of the album

Concerning the Esher demos, you can now have two other unique tracks each by just making mono copies of the left and right channels.
We are getting take 18 of Revolution 1, which is the basis of the bootlegged "Take off your knickers" take 20. So what we are getting is going to be close.
Well the "USSR" demo we heard today is not mixed 100 left / 100 right - like some were on the Anthology. So each performance is somewhat in both channels. Also, it sounded good this way. Good choice.
It seems a a bit random that these outtakes are added at the end: 19.The Inner Light (Take 6 - Instrumental backing track) 20.Lady Madonna (Take 2 - Piano and drums) 21.Lady Madonna (Backing vocals from take 3) 22.Across the Universe (Take 6)
