Incredible indeed. It appears that you are the only one who can make a caustic remark. I have now alleviated that problem for myself.
John was the one with the typewriter, George left all that writing for Derek Taylor to do, Ringo can't spell. So that means it's up to Paul.
No new sound clips, music video sheesh. All the Lennon clips are up for Imagine, sounds good, nothing new, no songs, mixes are new of course. Can't afford to get them both. I'm leaning towards White 50. More Beatles, More Beatles, must be programmed into my DNA . I'll tell you one thing the Lennon set does do, right there on Amazon, for $1.29 I can just buy the outtakes of my choice in mp3. For $10-15 bucks, I could probably satisfy my need, for must have outtakes. Of course, the Beatles won't offer an option like that, will they ??? Why not ?
Less than 4 weeks now. Fairly flying in>>>> This thread has been a roller coaster ride, Helter Skelter at times .But a lot of fun. Thanks Tim !!!!!!!
As a matter of interest how DO you post images. I have tried flickr URLs and whatnot to no avail. I am probably missing something obvious obviously.
The fact that he found the first pass too compressed is music to my ears. Maybe he is starting to understand the issues on the Sgt Pepper remix. It’s a pity that he didn’t reach this conclusion on the Sgt Pepper and 1 remixes. This is an encouraging development IMO.
There's a way to post images that I recently discovered that doesn't require you to use Flickr or any other image-posting service: 1. Right-click your mouse on the picture you want to post. Select "View Image Info." 2. Copy the entire file name in the "Location" field. 3. Returning to this thread, in the "Post Reply" box, click the Image icon. 4. Paste the file name into the "Image URL" field, then click "Insert." I can't guaranteeing this will work for every single image you find, but it works for me. As an example, I posted the image from a few posts up using those steps:
I like Piggies, it fits nicely on side 2, giving that side an overall folksy/country/pastoral feel. Having said that, I think it’s George’s most lightweight track on the White Album (but he was starting to give Lennon and McCartney a run for their money!)
