What 80's artists or bands are in need of a good, single-disc compilation??

I'm noticing Icehouse doesn't seem to have one, and I've always meant to get such a thing -- if ever I stumbled on one. (Or is there one that the AMG is unaware of??)

    Any others come to mind??

I'd like to see a good Sheila E. compilation showcasing the best songs from The Glamorous Life, Romance 1600 and Sheila E. albums, as well as all the b-sides ("Too Sexy", "Paradise Gardens", "Save The People", "The World Is High") and soundtrack songs ("Holly Rock" from Krush Groove).

And maybe a bonus disc of 12" remixes. There are quite a few.

Sheena Easton: The available comps don't include "The Lover In Me" (likely due to that being on a different label).

This would be nice, but since it's within Paisley Park, it may be awhile.

You know, you're right. There should be one.

  6. A Sheila B-sides disc would definetly be welcomed especially since I don't have my 12" singles any more!

    You could also add:
"Hold Me" by Eddie M (Sheila on lead vocals)
"Juba Dis And Juda Dat" from "HIPPITY HOP" a kid's album.
plus assorted tracks that she has appeared on her father's albums.

Red Box, if only for the long version of "Lean On Me", but the Circle and the Square LP was one of the best of the decade.

And they could call it "Red Box Set".

Icehouse did have one, that is not clearly identified as a compilation - GREAT SOUTHERN LAND came out in the late 80's on Chrysalis, and is OOP now - but it does contain a nice selection of their stuff - and the 2 songs I was after - Sister and Hey Little Girl.
