Another winning poll for the Rolling Stones?

Is UMG the only label that has access to SACD technology? Just wondering why these polls are limited to that music group's catalogue?

  15. I believe these polls are intended for Universal Music in Japan, to help give them input from fans on what they want from the next rounds of SHM-SACDs. Most of the other big labels have not looked interested in releasing any SACDs.

I'm a bit surprised by the lack of Abba albums in your survey especially as the band was more successful as an albums act than a single one.

For the 1970s, Arrival should be a definite inclusion in any survey while Super Trouper and The Visitors should feature in any 1980s poll. :shake:

    Here's the link: London Calling

Belongs to CBS / Sony Music.

    Maybe blu-spec-sacd one day? :righton:

Let's hope sales are as expected (or better) for the shm-sacd's (for classic rock titles). If they seem to be very successful, Sony will be the first to start releasing pop/rock titles again I guess. But only if the sales are extremely good, I'm afraid.
