I got this when I joined The Friends Of Neil Diamond Fan Club in 1972. I hope the images are large enough. I tried to post it the other day but I had put them too big into the computer.

It cost only two bucks to join and you'd initially get a big envelope with a programme, personally autographed 8 by 10, a signed 5 by 7 and other things.

When I saw him in 1978 and he wiggled his **** and sang Lay, Lady, Lay that was it for me. No more.

I hope they're big enough for you to enjoy them.

I had open heart surgery in 1974 and the day after was under the influence of a morphine like drug. My father came to the hospital with a letter from The Friends Of Neil Diamond and I was so stoned I thought it was a get well soon type of card from Neil Diamond. I opened it up and there was a little card that read, 'Dear Friend, your membership has expired. Please send $2.50'

Cracklin' Rosie was the record that grabbed me in 1970.

I tried correcting the fact that I posted the same image twice but no deal.

I always thought he should have played down the screaming and kept it cool. THEN another hit would have come.

I used to wear boots like him; black, square toe and low heel.

    He's popular in Ireland.

I sometimes wonder if he'll ever have another BIG hit. I hope so.

I think that's the shirt he wore on the Stones cover.

Thanks for posting Sean! I've been a fan since I was 5 years old. My first musical memory was hearing my parents play Side 2 of "Stones" (with that cool blue label). The first LP I bought with my own money was Hot August Night. In fact I just listened to it the other day. My parents, sisters, and I have seen him perform live about 10 times, the first time being in 1976 and the most recent being Oct 2001. He's sort of like a member of the family.
