"A Charlie Brown Christmas" CD remaster.

For me it's a case-by-case thing. I am not bothered at all by the twin-track on this particular album, though. I prefer it over mono.

No reason to hide under a chair. The original CD (mastered by George Horn) does sound really nice, and it's my favorite version too.

 

Yeah, why are you hiding under a chair? lol I should be the one hiding for saying I preferred the 2006 one. I just find the separation easier on my ears. I’m not a fan of any hiss/noise reduction though, so maybe I’ll force myself to listen to the 1988 cd over and over until I get used to it.
