I still have the Viewmaster Reels and my complete collection of UNCLE Cards. In case noone else mentioned it the breifcase Steve decribed was the James Bond case. The UNCLE case was a simple breifcase but contained the UNCLE gun/rife and ID badge and cards

 

BTW, did you perceive at the time thata there was a lot of satire in TMFUNCLE?

I took it all very seriously (I was 10).

But I do remember Kuriakin quipping to Solo after a car chase and shootout "I cut my finger". That was first and sole inkling that the thing was not 100% serious.

Doesn't Waverly look a lot like the Beagle that is everywhere and drives the wolf crazy?

Well, suppose I can always dial up The Avengers episode, "The Girl From A.U.N.T.I.E.".

 

They did issue a Laserdisc set of 2 discs which I have. It will have to do until they issue the series on DVd, ehich i fully expect they will at some point. So many people want it thats its gotta come out.
