Someone needs to teach her how to properly hold an LP.

 

I posted instructions on how to hold an LP in the comment section of the Instagram post.

 

Speakers on same surface as turntable too.. Looks fake to me..

 

They should start a new forum for silly stuff like this. But then again, now that I think more about it, we already have gigantic threads in the Music Forum for girls playing records, I think even started by Steve H, so maybe not, nevermind, twitter is the best

 

Audioengine A5+ speakers is what they look like.

 

I was about to mention that. They're pretty good speakers!

 

I think doing this just turns people off to audiophiles and the hobby in general. Sometimes you just have to let people enjoy their records and figure things out for themselves.

You should also post that there is no possible way to enjoy music if you don't spend at least $6000 on a stereo system. (sarcasm)

 

Seriously. If they don't care enough to treat their stuff well, then you shouldn't care either. It doesn't affect you and it just comes across as pedantic. I mean, I have no problem making fun of people on a forum like this (where most people are pedantic, but in a fun, hobbyist way). However, just like with political posts online, you don't convince people by trolling and saying that they're wrong.

Back to the topic: too much white for me. It hurst my eyes, I'd like a little more contrast. In reality, that picture is probably staged and not a real setup. U-Turn sells the Audioengines on their site, so it is almost certainly just a marketing pic.
