    I did read your great article before posting the thread it's just that I wanted additional comments about the CD.

    It would've been more coherent had they turned it into a b-sides or non-album tracks collection or maybe even stuck the spanish tracks from Super Trouper and The Visitors to make it even more "international". The presence of Dancing Queen and some of the other hits kind of spoil the whole thing for me.


    The edited version of Eagle sounds noticeably sped-up compared to the original album version. I'll have to pull out the From ABBA With Love cd to see if that one is sped up as well. Not sure if the original 7" single sounded like this, I don't have that particular single.

    I think the selection was determined by what Polydor Germany could find easily in the vaults at that point in time.
