Hard to find the Atlantic GH volumes on cd which are preferred here. I noticed that Number Ones remastered by Henrik Jonsson has a nice track selection. How does this sound? Any NR used? copmpression?

    Need advice....

If Jonsson mastered the disc, it probably has the same mastering as the recent remasters. They are very loud but reasonably well eq'ed and nr is not an issue, imo. I think overall they are better than the Astley remasters.

Yeh i agree , i have a few of the Jonsson one's they are really good , just a hair "too loud" & they lack a hair of the great "punch" of some of the songs , but they still are very enjoyable .

How does it compare to the US Gold and More Gold cds from the early 90's
