I just binge-watched "Lou Grant". Great role, great actor.

No pic in the article? It's right at the beginning of it.

Sad news. Loved Lou Grant. Classic guy, and I'm a fan of Ellen Travolta, as well. Condolences to his family, friends, and fans. RIP.

He played a characther on "St. Elsewhere" whose wife is hurt and later dies from a bomb. He later kills the bomber in the hospital and goes to prison. A couple of seasons later, his characther tags along witha characther who assaults and rapes Dr. Morrison in a bid to escape. That didn't work out well for anyone

Back when Lou Grant was on, some friends told me that Jack Bannon was heavily tattooed, which was why his character always wore long sleeves. Anybody know if this is true?
