Actors/Celebs Who Get Mistaken for Each Other

When I was a kid, it took me a while to figure out that Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck were different people.

Supposedly there's a huge internet meme that says Amy Adams and Isla Fisher get confused for each other. I don't see any resemblance to speak of myself.

It's also been said that Margot Robbie looks a lot like Jaime Pressly. That one I REALLY can see. Jaime also could've been a great Harley Quinn.

I knew someone who thought Jodie Foster, not Holly Hunter, voiced the mom in Incredibles.

I just figured out the other day that Simon West and Simon Wincer are two DIFFERENT directors.

I always thought Dennis Quaid was given a career because he resembled Harrison Ford. Just like after Star Wars, a lot of Mark Hamill-esque actors starting get parts.

Speaking of Hamill, there's another internet meme that says Sebastian Stan resembles him, and a suggestion that he should play the young Luke in a Disney project.

Speaking of Star Wars, Keira Knightley was cast as Queen Amidala's decoy because of a resemblance to Natalie Portman.

I think Emma Watson looks a bit like the young Kerri Green (Andy in Goonies). I think Chris Columbus might've cast her in Harry Potter with Kerri on his mind.

And supposedly people have been saying Millie Bobby Brown looks like the young Elizabeth Perkins. Again, I don't see that one.

Back in the 1960s when Chet Huntley and David Brinkley were a team on the NBC evening news, Brinkley said he was often confused with Huntley by strangers. Rather than correct them and make them fell bad, he would say yes. One person said “I don’t know how yow can stand that awful David Brinkley in Washington “. So Brinkley responded “that is why I am in New York”.

 

I don’t see Harrison Ford and Dennis Quaid. At all.

 

As a kid, I'd confuse Leo Rossi with Robert DeNiro

 

Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman.

 

Katee Sackhoff said that when she started acting she was sometimes mistaken for Brittany Murphy in photos.

 

I used to mistake Ned Beatty for Gene Hackman and vice-versa when I was younger.

Keirley Knightley and Daisy Ridley look like they could be related. They’re not.

 

On paper, it's easy to get Seth Rogen, Seth Green, Seth Meyers and/or Seth MacFarlane confused.

I still think this one is mind-boggling:

 

That guy who was in the thing looks JUST like that other guy in the other thing, and people mistake them for one another ALL the time!

Also, all pretty blond English actresses look alike.

I think there was a time in my life when I got Nick Nolte and Gary Busey confused.

 

When I was young, I would get Karen Allen and Brooke Adams confused with each other.

 

I still get them confused!

 

As a kid in the early ‘80’s I was convinced Dennis Quaid was intentionally aping Harrison Ford!

 

Samuel L. Jackson and Laurence Fishburne apparently got mixed up often enough that they would occasionally sign autographs in each other's name for confused fans.

 

I mixed up Keira Knightly and Natalie Portman for a while.
