I ordered mine from Cherry Red Records (in the UK) a week ago. They seem to have the best price -- 10.95 GBP total (about $17) which amount includes shipping to US.

OK, I'll be a little more helpful: www.cherryred.co.uk/rpm/theaerovons.htm

    Quite an amazing story, actually.

I'd never heard of them before either but, there was a really good article on them in the Feb issue of Record Collector (p. 92). It's enough to make me want to get the CD.

    Cheers,
    Chris

AEROVONS - Hmmn? Did AEROSMITH get their name from them?
(I know I've heard the "point in the Dictionary story"(E.g. Arrowsmith), but like a lot in their bio "Walk This Way" I find it hard to believe!!!

Yep. That's purportedly how the Grateful Dead got their name. Jerry Garcia was sailing on DMT when he conjured up the words "GRATEFUL" and "DEAD" from a Funk and Wagnall's New Practical Standard Dictionary.

Anyone interested in this should check out the MEET THE REDCOATS CD.

Same amount of good natured Beatlesque plagiurism involved.
