That's great! It's a really good album- some would say even better than Jagged Little Pill. Well worth owning and hearing.

Great news! Hope they will keep on releasing her work on vinyl, especially "Flavors of Entanglement", which is one of my favorites. I also hope they include the tracks from the deluxe edition of that one!

Anyone know where to get a blue copy (with not expensive shipping to Australia)

I see Amazons have the black only?

Got the DVD-Audio so it's hard to justify picking up the vinyl when other stuff is on my list.

I asked a Gort to combine the two separate threads (one about Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and one about Under Rug Swept) into this ongoing thread about Music On Vinyl's Alanis reissues, since they've now done 4 of them!

Here's information for the Alanis "MTV Unplugged" reissue from late 2013:

It seems like they skipped over a few releases getting to their upcoming "Jagged Little Pill Acoustic". I hope they will not forget "Feast On Scraps" (which included B-sides and unreleased tracks from "Under Rug Swept") and the true follow-up to URS, "So-Called Chaos".

How is the sound quality on the Junkie?

I was really happy with the Jagged(1995) vinyl reissue I picked up last year.

I'll answer my own question.. JLP acoustic sounds pretty good.. Lovely clear and flat vinyl.. Nice and quiet. insert with lyrics.
Hopefully they continue and get the rest of her back catalogue out..

Any other info on these releases?

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of the MTV unplugged music on vinyl release?

Anyone have any more info on these? Especially SFIJ...discogs lists Chris Bellman as mastering credit which would be strange for an MOV release...unless they received the parts from another cut? Anyone have any deadwax info?

    Thanks!
