Alanis Morissette- Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie- 20 years later

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised at all the love Alanis and this album are getting in this thread! I was half-expecting that it would end up not getting any replies!

 

I recall hating how some said that they didnt care for SFIJ as it came out or just didnt bother giving it a chance. I wanted to yell this is a really solid album and great stuff here!

Just great songwriting and vivid stories here. The Couch is incredible IMO not saying its the best on the album its just flawless.

 

A lot of people didn't like it so it's plentiful and cheap on the used market. For those who don't have it, it's worth the $2 investment.

 

I just got into Alanis about a year ago and first heard SFIJ maybe in November--I definitely need to give it another listen because I remember really liking almost every song but the only non-single that I really remember at the moment is "Front Row." I'd be up for a song-by-song discussion if anyone else is on board!

 

This was a far better album than Jagged in my humble opinion. By a mile.
