A band formed by Bernie Marsden after he quit Whitesnake. They released 2 obscure AOR record in 1984 and 1985. The sound was way too synthy even for the times but the melodies were pure Marsden. Both albums are pretty hard to find these days. Any opinions?

I used to have "The Pack" on cassette. I see it's available on CD, but pretty pricey.

Picked both for $40 each. To my surprise The Pack is available not only on Castle CD but on Intercord.

I bought the first one when it came out in the 80s but I thought it was a bit boring compared to the Whitesnake stuff Marsden had been doing earlier. I think I have to revisit this album once again.

Well, it's more AOR oriented and very keyboard driven. Not as bluesy or heavy.

    Lou Reed reference :)

Never heard of Alaska. Who was in the band besides Marsden?
