I’ve always thought Styx had some strong album closers, though they’re not necessarily the best tracks.

“Mission to Mars” - The Mission
“The Grand Finale”- The Grand Illusion
“Aku Aku” - Pieces of Eight
State Street Sadie” - Paradise Theater (short and sweet but captures the Theater mood)

    In addition,

“Gypsy Pilot” (sadly prophetic)- Rudy the Fifth by Rick Nelson and The Stone Canyon Band
“Cheatin” (nice country vibe send-off) - New Miserable Experience by the Gin Blossoms
“Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You” (heartwrenching)- Rock a Little by Stevie Nicks
“Tel Aviv” (instrumentals make great album closers)- Duran Duran by Duran Duran
“Fractured Mirror” (ditto instrumental comment)- Ace Frehley by Ace Frehley
“Last Resort” (epic statement about the environment) - Hotel California by the Eagles

The Hud Breath of the Kingdom, Tears of the Wild

It has been mentioned twice already, but Hallowed Be Thy Name is not only the best closing song, but possibly the greatest song ever, IMO.

Can't argue with that, but The Stone Roses ' I am the resurrection' runs it a close second.
