Dylan - Self Portrait
Hang it all! Too slow.
GregM wins the thread already.
I thought this would have been the lead post.
Tim Buckley x2
Dan the man (self portrait)...
I wouldn't call "lousy" a portrait intended to be an impressionist take on a face that didn't look like a photograph of that face.
Anyway, here's my contribution to the thread: Jimi Hendrix, Live at Royal Albert Hall

Oooh, that one is not good. The Welsh Connection cover wasn't much better. They had the graphic redone for their tour backdrop. That was an improvement.
I'm not going to post it (because of nudity), but Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album cover is supposed to be a painting of Kanye, chilling out with a naked griffin.
Here's Brooke Hogan's (daughter of Hulk Hogan) The Redemption
Lots of bad ones I hadn't seen before. The Sinatra is the worst of the bunch posted so far, it looks like it was drawn by a high school student. The Brooke Hogan is bad, although that's more a matter of being tacky than amateurish.
Billy Joel, "River of Dreams" (painted by Christie Brinkley)
Painted by Christie Brinkley. You could tell it wouldn't last.
Perhaps he could have distracted from the appalling nature of the cover by including Candle In The Wind 1997, or something.
That is hideous. Looks like something Jeff Koons might paint on a panel van.
I think it's safe to assume that the cover of River Of Dreams is so bad, it spreads it's talons across any thread that dares to mock it.
The fourth Daltrey and the third and fourth Entwistle drawings are particularly bad.
The fourth Daltrey is by David Hockney, and is the best of the four IMHO.
Jason Mraz, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things
Donovan went to pieces over this one.
