I was born in '72. So, the oldest ones that to this day I still go back to regularly are:

Rush - Moving Pictures/Permanent Waves/Signals (with advent of DAP's I just put all 3 in a folder and shuffle it)

Brian Eno- "Another Green World" and "Before and After Science." Every listen reveals something new and radical, and they truly did change music forever. Not just stylistic exercises, but emotionally powerful.

Every song is great. Ashford & Simpson really roped Diana in and kept her focused on her best album.

Based on the OP parameters for this thread:

We all have that particularly album that never leaves our soul!

Doesn't matter how much time passed by - 10, 20, 30 or 40 years - we are still listening to them weekly.

I can't say that I listen to any album weekly. I have listened to "songs" from albums, but not from any one album every week.

My obsessions with albums go through waves, changes, variations. I've let the needle in my brain get stuck on some albums for weeks on end and other times I listen to something different every day for stretches of time. list of albums I've been obsessed with would be too long here.

Bands/artists I've been obsessed with for the longest periods of time include Albert Ayler, The Beach Boys, David Bowie, Ornette Coleman, Dinosaur Jr, Bob Dylan, Brian Eno, Jimi Hendrix, Japan, John Mayall, Minutemen, Mission of Burma, Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, The Ramones, Lou Reed, R.E.M., The Replacements, The Rolling Stones, Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor, Paul Westerberg, The Who, Neil Young and Crazy Horse.

I'm sure I left some out.
