  4. I consider it the best release of the Flo & Eddie / Zappa lineup, which is my least favorite Zappa period.

There isn't a single Title there that would not definitively reveal the Artist upon a google search if you didn't already know them.

I like the idea that you would have to look it up if you didn't know of it...I purposely do that a lot around here...you might get into it that way.

Maybe. More likely people will just shrug and move on, though! :)

FWIW, I had to look up your last 2. I knew the others by title but wasn't aware of the Brian Wilson or Killers albums...

    A few of mine:

Iron Maiden - Killers. Sure it doesn't get "panned" by fans but I'm pretty sure it's safe to say they attained their biggest fame with the Dickinson albums that followed. I just love the rawness of this album - almost like a punk / metal hybrid.

Rush, Grace Under Pressure. Lots of people lament the poppiness and synth-heavy sound of this album but I just love it. Perfect 80s synthpop/prog hybrid, some interesting lyrics and IMO strong songwriting.

Aerosmith - Done With Mirrors. While this was the official "comeback" album with their classic lineup I remember it going virtually un-noticed. It wasn't until the vastly more successful Permanant Vacation came out that these guys regained their pre-breakup status. While I liked that album too, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for this vastly less commercially successful album. It rawks!

The White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan. No huge hits on this one unlike the more famous Elephant but I find the songs more consistent and interesting. May be my favourite album of theirs

John Denver - "I WANT TO LIVE". Sadly, those aspirations ended in 1997.
Love some of the "dreary" songs on it, but these days I prefer "DRUTHERS", ironically. ("If I had my druthers...")
(The track list is not showing the actual running order.)

I think that's a pretty popular choice for (one of) his best.
