Looks fantastic. Somehow I'm already disappointed it's not eight hours long.

I'm only really obsessed with 5-6 years of Frank, but this is a must see for me, just to see his genius on full display in these times

Excited to see this, but in total agreement the Frank Zappa story in full needs a longer running time than the standard 90 minutes to 2-hours. I enjoyed Eat The Question, but that doc focused more on Zappa the cultural figure than Zappa the musician and composer. Zappa - at least from the trailer - seems prepared to dig into the music as much as the man.

I'm assuming the sheer joy of RUTH will give all the 'uninitiated' who watch this the little 'jolt' to get people to investigate in the man!

IMDB says it's just over 2 hours long, that's good

    Zappa (2020) - IMDb

I'll hold out for the Blu-Ray (I hope) and hopefully a shed load of extras on that!

I've no idea if I'll be able to watch it (the stream) in my country anyway, all I read about are the North American rights...

Just managed to dig into the various different websites, not of which are very helpful. Just ended up googling Magnolia Pictures website in the end and cut straight to the chase.

    It states "available everywhere"

    States...

23/11 - One Night Only Theatrical Event - assume this is going to be a synchronised stream (?) or actually released into cinemas?
    27/11 - Stream everywhere

Zappa | A Magnolia Pictures Film | Available Everywhere November 27

Just about every streaming service I've seen is on the list.

It's good Steve Vai and Ray White are there. But Pamela Des Barres and no Adrian Belew? Hmm...
