Ugh ... no original band reunion album. Again.
Doesn't Alice want any media attention?

Let's just appreciate the fact that Alice is still working... I don't think I am just speaking for myself, but we are really going to miss him when he's gone.

It really says something that in this day and age of diminishing fortunes, Alice keeps cranking out the albums. I don't think we're ever going to hear him say, "I'm not going to record any more because there;s no money in it."

Maybe they just don't have it in 'em to do an entire album? Although....that little live show was fantastic, writing and recording new material is a whole different thing.

He sticks a kiddie choir (or a baby crying) on nearly every he produces.
    Alice ....yes....multiple times
On the last album...it was just a choir choir "what part of dead don't you get?"
    Lou Reed....yes
    Kiss...yes
    Pink Floyd...yes
    Deep Purple...yes

Deep Purple's "Hell To Pay?" I saw footage of the choir recording it and they were not young children, and they definitely didn't sound like kiddies (ie. The Wall choir).

Same ole bag of trick. "Hey...this song needs some choir"!

It was my first Ezrin produced album so it seemed like a new idea to me and Deep Purple. At least Ezrin didn't reach into that bag of tricks again and repeat himself on inFinite.

Huh...I thought maybe they could share a choir on their co-headlining tour with Alice Cooper. That means they each play the same length set, right? And they flip flip who the headliner is each night, right? I wonder if Deep Purple will like opening for Alice Cooper? I think Edgar Winter is playing as well.

The word "choir" has always confounded me. It's pronounced differently than the way it's spelled. Sounding it out never helped as a kid, and to this day, I still stumble over it. The "I" sounds like it comes before the "O." (/ˈkwaɪ.ər/) = Chior. Nope. Wrong-O, Mary Lou. English is a fascinating language.

Oh, and here's a second teaser clip:

Lots of fun theories going on over at SickthingsUK - THE Unofficial Alice Cooper Site . I like the way that this is taking shape.

    Wow...that's crazy. But interesting!

    Choir....yep...a crazy looking word
Middle English quer, quere, from Old French quer, from Latin chorus (see chorus). The spelling change in the 17th century was due to association with Latin chorus and modern French choeur .

Very cool...! I love word origins. My favorite is "sheriff." Back in old England, when towns were broken up into shires, each was overseen by the reeve. The Shire-reeve.

Alice just said on twitter that he "Can't wait to get on stage with the original #AliceCooper band in Nashville!"... is this a one off thing during his current 'Spend The Night With Alice Cooper' tour? Date is May 14th.

Yes, a one-off for that date is all that has been announced so far.

The CD will be a double (kinda) with a mini-disc of the three ACG songs and some selected live tracks (maybe the songs recorded at the R&R HOF induction ?)
Roger Glover also plays bass on one track on the main album.

Pre-order heads-up: The deluxe edition is currently listed at £20.60 on Amazon UK - Paranormal: Amazon.co.uk: Music

The content hasn't been announced yet but I think it's a decent price for whatever it turns out to be.

I'm wondering when we're gonna get the album cover and track listing revealed. It seems strange to me that it's only a little over 2 months until the album's release and those haven't even been shown yet.

You can add Julian Lennon to that list, too. :)

    That cover is horrible...
I really liked "Along Came a Spider" but found "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" (ugh that title) to be boring. Even though every song was from some different genre, I can't remember a single moment from it.
I'm a huge fan and Alice is extremely talented, so I'm hoping for a bit of a return to form.
