Looking at Vince's tour schedule if he's involved in this he won't be available to spend weeks recording vocals.

Would be interesting if they are doing the score for the film...

He could do all his work in a weekend. Bring someone in to cut a guide vocal, email Vince the file, and bam.

    That would be cool too.

Nikki has gotten ten times better on bass. He picked retirement to finally learn his instrument!

Who famously said that you had to get Vince to do his vocals between beers #3 and #5 and you were good to go? Someone in The Dirt, I bet...

They should put out a set and call it Ten Years Dead - sort of the Decade Of Decadence set (Decade of Decadence 81-91 - Wikipedia ) and then some.

Disc 1 - cd - no '91 remixes, no live tracks, all sourced from the best sounding cd versions (original Elektras?) I'm dropping Teaser, Angela and Rock N Roll Junkie and adding some songs as the intent of this is different than Decade Of Decadence. Songs not on Decade Of Decadence in italics.

    1. Live Wire
    2. Take Me To The Top
    3. Piece Of Your Action
    4. In The Beginning/Shout At The Devil
    5. Looks That Kill
    6. Red Hot
    7. Too Young To Fall In Love
    8. Louder Than Hell
    9. Smokin' In The Boys Room
    10. Home Sweet Home
    11. Wild Side
    12. Girls, Girls, Girls,
    13. All In The Name Of
    14. TnT/Dr. Feelgood
    15. Kickstart My Heart
    16. Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)
    17. Primal Scream
    18. Anarchy In The UK
Disc 2 - blu ray (or dvd) - no music videos, just live footage from each tour (through 1991).

    • Too Fast era - anything?
    • US Festival '83
    • Shout era - acceptable to decent quality footage is on You Tube
    • Theater era - acceptable to decent quality footage is on You Tube
    • Girls era - lots of good quality footage is on You Tube (example below)
    • Feelgood era - lots of good quality footage is on You Tube
    • Moscow '89
    • Castle Donington '91

I'd rather they just put out the Personality #9, the unreleased album they were working on with John Corabi and Bob Rock before they ditched them and reunited with Vince Neil and put out Generation Swine.

Only two songs from those sessions have leaked (that I know of). It'd be nice to hear it before I die.

    what were the 2 songs?

  12. Agreed. I’d much rather hear that then another greatest hits package.

Two versions of a song called "Say Goodbye" and a Corbai vocal of "Let Us Prey", a song that was on Generation Swine with Vince Neil on vocals.

Here's the Personality #9 version of "Let Us Prey" with Corabi on vocals

This along with "Say Goodbye" leaked back sometime between 2007-2009 I believe. Other songs have been mentioned ("The Year I Lived in a Day" and "La Dolce Vita") but nothing else from the Personality #9 recordings have leaked or been released.

Aren't the masters lost for this version?

    Yep.

I have to believe that it's out there somewhere. Until then, it would not be hard to do a better needledrop than the one on the box set.

Did anyone ever buy that Japanese TFFL box from a few years ago that had a "remastered" Leathur mix?

Vince Neil and John Corabi (for those with hopes of some form of reunion) are touring as we speak. Who do you think will be doing vocals on the stuff that Nikki and Tommy are working on with Bob Rock?

There's better odds of John McCain singing on this project than John Corabi!

We don't know their deadline. I am 100% certain it will be Vince on vox and Mick on guitar.
