Spinning this ridiculously under appreciated original vinyl right now.

    Gov't Mule tomorrow night.

All things ABB tonight. Some great stuff here. Dickey was inspired. Gregg was singing his ass off. Toler....just wow!

  2. Damn, that dangerous Dan! Miss him too!

They killed it tonight! I ran home & have The Geargia Bootleg box cranking.

    I know....for another thread.

Long live Warrren Haynes & may he continue this amazing work he's doing right now.

I was at that ABB show in August of 1979 but it was at the Music Inn in Lenox not Tanglewood. Having gone to a few shows in Tanglewood and the Music Inn back in the day I always confused the two. Below is a link to the setlist for the show. I remember it being an excellent show on a nice warm summer day !

Another ABB album I wish we'd get a deluxe issue of.

That would be cool! Possibly including one of the concerts from the Enlightened Rogues tour :).

Had a ticket for New Years Eve '79 at Nassau Coliseum. I was 15. I came down with pneumonia and had to stay home and listen to it on WLIR-FM instead.

I remember the cut-out bins in New York were also overflowing with these titles.

Set up a small system in my bedroom with my old Yamaha P-300 turntable. After seeing this thread threw on the Enlightened Rogues vinyl I bought when the album was first released. Sounds great :)!

This is a good enough album, it's got the same problem WLD had where I can recognize the good performances but don't get the feeling I'm listening to their most inspired stuff. The band just has so much classic material that the merely good appearas nondescript. Just imo.

I was at the Houston, Texas show. The whole band was in top form. Dickey blew my mind.

My local FM station used to play Pegasus regularly in the late 80s. Toler doesn’t get the recognition he probably deserves in his time with the Allmans. Underrated album for sure.
