Anyone here have any opinions they'd like to share on Amazon's AmazonBasics line of tech and cables? I've rarely ever went for their brand, but I'd assume that they'd be cheap but good entry level gear.

I've found them to be a very good quality for the price.

I have a Lightening charging cable that works as well as any other. I think they are good value for the money.

The speaker wire is copper-clad aluminum.

I use their HDMI and network cables. No complaints from me. They are built well and the price is right.

I have an 18' USB cable that I run from my computer to my DAC and stereo. No issues.

I bought a USB hub thing so I could plug in more flash drives. That item is very hit or miss, I got a replacement but the stupid thing is designed to go into sleep mode automatically which is very annoying. Not sure I'd recommend it.

I have two 9.8' HDMI cables from AmazonBasics and can't think of anything negative to say.

Never tried AmazonBasics. Not that I would ever know the difference in listening to it, but I don't care for products like copper-clad aluminum wire. I only purchase copper wire.

I have bought AmazonBasics - HDMI leads, Displayport leads, TOSlink cables and on-ear headphones.

They have all been excellent quality. I'm particularly pleased with my headphones. Great no nonsense knock about headphones. I now rarely use my Audio-Technica's.

    Well worth looking at.

I just replaced all my interconnects with these.
The RCA connectors are one of the best fitting ones I've used. Nice and snug but not tight.
For the price I think they're a great bargain.

    Update:

I've since tried a few more Amazon Basics products, namely their 8' RCA interconnect and their 3 meter optical/toslink cable. Both are working fine so far.

I've got the toslink running from a PS4 to my Schiit DAC so I can hear Netflix audio through my stereo. For this purpose the $6.50 cable works a treat.

I've got the 8'' rca running from my tape output on my integrated amp to an old Technics cassette deck. For $10 that cable seems well made. Specs are on the Amazon page. Made my first cassette mix in about 15 years the other day using that cable and deck.

I should also mention they're very flexible.

I measured the capacitance on one of them. The cables are 4 feet in length.

I purchased a two-pack charger set. Neither charger worked.

    Worthless purchase.

Amazondid give me immediate credit when I complained.

Glad to hear that everyone is enjoying the RCA cables. I have them coming to connect the new turntable I have arriving this week.

They also look similar to Fisual's Install range. Clearly there is an OEM and companies put their branding on them. These cables are very nice. Good build and value.
