Could anyone who owns them comment on:

    a) How these early Japanese releases sound
    b) Whether they contain the same level of Wolfman as the US cd?
The first link is for a 1985 release; the second is from 1991.

Various - 41 Original Hits From The Sound Track Of American Graffiti

I searched the forums and what little information there was seemed conflicting. Someone said they had an early Japanese version and they were annoyed because it was missing most of the Wolfman stuff. (That's good!) They also said it sounded like crap. (That's bad!) But I really like the idea of less Wolfman.

Someone else said they had a Japanese version which sounded good, though they didn't comment on the Wolfman, or which release it was.

Not related to Japanese issues, I also noticed a comment where someone said there was an "American Graffiti Vol 1" CD that had no Wolfman at all, but I haven't been able to find any information about that.

Basically, if there's a CD, from anywhere with less or no Wolfman I'd love to know about it.

The Wolfman was an important part of the movie soundtrack. Without him, it's just another '60's music compilation.
