Amplifier Stands

    I have my 300B set mono blocks sitting on the floor. Is there any benefit to putting them on stands to get them a few inches off the floor?

    Isolating the amps from the floor to negate any floor borne vibrations would be of benefit.

    Sound-wise maybe a slight reduction in micro-phonic pickup, but probably no audible difference. For damp locations or any basement area, yes, get them off the floor.

    I have to get on my tippy toes just to reach a couple of my amps. :D
