Great interview by the way!! I also just had the chance to chat with Andy Powell the other day. We got to talk about a few different things from the current tour, the new box set (and what went into putting it together) and life on the road. Also, Andy tells one of his stories about playing with George and Ringo at Apple records. Hope you guys enjoy it!

 

"...the remastering is quite important because over the decades the sound of these records changed so you have to come up with a mean average of the sound so if a listener opens the box set and goes through the CD's things sound consistent on their player. That was quite a technical challenge..."

This is the part that caught my attention. I think I sort of know what that means.
