Another piece of Adcom History - GFT-555 tuner*

Bought a $60 Adcom GFT-555 to match the GFP-555 preamplifier. I'm not much of a radio guy but my family likes some occasional NPR or a Red Wings Hockey game. The preamp/tuner pair also looks real impressive, especially paired with an ol' McIntosh amplifier.

 

Wow. Adcom. That brings back memories. Nice pics. Gonna recap them?

 

I'll get around to a recap--- someday when I have the time --- working on a pair of tube amplifiers right now.

 

I have a little Adcom, too. GCD-575 and GFP-715 above, GFA-545II below. The netbook on top gets most of the time as the source, but I fired up the CD for this photo. Someday I'll find a prettier place to put this system.
