Any one know what this circuit is?

    There are no active amplification devices in that schematic (transistors or tubes). Lots of capacitors (some of them variable). Also some coils and what looks like 2 transformers. The formula means nothing to me.

    Looks like a bandpass circuit of some kind to me. Being the type of person who believes that the fewer devices in a signal path the better, I intend to keep anything that looks vaguely like that out of my system. :laugh:

    I think it's some sort of resonator. As Drew noted, variable capacitors - two ganged together. Perhaps a tuner front-end? The formula implies resonance I guess. Something doesn't look right about the result though.

    Honestly, I have no idea.

    I would say it looks like a tuner front end too. Definitely not complete...
