Best to ask the vendor. You can do that now.

I'm willing to bet you a buck that the CD is the Capitol stock.

People who post on half, sometimes use the manual wizard, and they pick whatever comes up, without looking to see that the actual UPC seperates similar product to what they're actually selling.

They don't care if it says Gold Disc, many sellers don't even pay attention to what that means.

You have to keep that in mind. The sellers are possibly not very detail literate, and know close to nothing what they're trying to get rid of. In some cases, it can be a blessing, and then there's others.....

    Yes, a cheap chance for $4! :)

I'm not even sure I believe that:

"CD only no coverart. Will include slimline jewelcase. CD has scratches but plays/rips fine. Not remastered."

Why do I get the distinct feeling this might be a CD-R?

Yeah, but that's half.com's description, not the seller's. The only safe way is to email the buyer. Alternatively, I suppose you could buy it, and then cancel it if you learn it isn't the gold CD...

If you do a search for "Gold Disc" on half.com and then sort by price, you'll think that you found the pot at the end of the rainbow! Do the search, and then sort by price. THen check each seller's comments. Many of them say "Not the gold disc"

If it looks too good to be true, e-mail the seller.
