This video was taken from a distance, but I am the bass soloist in this live performance of the "Recordare" movement of Mozart's Requiem from March 29, 2013 (Good Friday):

In 1996 I was invited to make an album of songs I wrote for other people, with a new song that became a video and a minor hit. And yes it was supposed to be a fake kiss but turned out a real one, and never saw her again...

Shot at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, prior to recording our album. Channeling Pink Floyd...

Not a performance per se (though there's a few floating around on Facebook) but here's a demo of a newly acquired electric 12-string. :shtiphat:

  13. I wasn't sure if I dare to post it here, since I am only a beginner and started to play guitar some time ago and haven't gotten very far yet (besides getting some nice guitars...). But since this thread asked for it, here it is (we are just a bunch of colleagues from work who got together for a company barbecue and we don't play together on a regular basis, and we only had a couple of band practices). I am playing the 12-string.

I haven't really been in a guitar-based band in a while. This was the last one I was in playing in 2007 in the corner of our awesome End Of An Ear record store here in Austin. If you like Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky, Japancakes, instrumental post-rock, etc. you might like it.

Sure, here's my new single. It's called "Simple Love" by Dominic Blaazer, recorded 2016, out in 2017.

A long distance recording project... I played bass, sang lead and mixed/mastered it. Oh yeah, I wrote the music, and the drummer wrote the words.

Here's a little ditty from the band I play in here locally... our standup bass player was out of town at the time so it's lacking in the bottom...

At the risk of embarrassing myself; only uploaded a few songs to the internet. This is a dead cover from about 7 years ago, just solo.
