    Regrets, I've had a few.
One of which is reading through this thread.
Although there is some good info in here, the thread topic seems to have been lost 289 pages ago.

Let everyone enjoy the CDs, LPs, digital files, etc. they like the best on the equipment they like the best.

No, but I do regret I didn't look after my Beatle lps and 45s when I was a nipper.

When the 09 masters were issued, I was not impressed with what sounded to me like too much bass on Abbey Road....
Sold it and continue to play the 87’s.

Tell me about it. I think that about so much stuff I trashed in my teenage haste.

But, you know, I had a great time trashing them with friends, so, it’s swings and roundabouts.

On the plus side, I’d grown up by the 1980s and I kept all those Beatles CDs on the shelf, where they belong.

I ended up getting the entire set back last year for 80 bucks on Ebay.
They're possibly older than the ones I bought in 1992 because this was a breadbox set.

Help! was my first CD. Got it for Christmas of 87. Within six months I had them all. After the 09s came out I put the 87s all in a box and gave them to my son. Although I wanted another set of 87s, it took me five years to replace them. I also purchased a Breadbox a couple of years ago. So now I have two. I have three 09s; those I bought individually, a stereo box I bought four or five years ago and a counterfeit box I used to fill up my Box of Vision. If you include the USB Apple I have four.

Not really. Only had the albums from Rubber Soul up to Abbey Road from '87. And my White Album copy had a pinhole in the guitar solo of When My Guitar Gently Weeps. Was happy to replace them with the 2009 stereo box.

Without resorting to Discogs, the 92 releases are the ones with the grey apple on the back, correct?

Should I mention the Mono Box (purchased in 09) or the US and Capitol boxes?

I gave away most of my 1987 CDs, but I kept the mono first four because I didn't want to inflict their poor sound quality on anyone else!

No. I never liked the '87. It sounds flat and involving. On CD, I listen to the '09. On vinyl to my UK pressing.
If I could get the Japanese CD for a price that doesn't seem outrageous to me, I would.

Good but it's a very small crowd in our corner of the universe. It's like being in the Chess Club in high school.

No. I find that all the 09's are superior to the 87's.

My '87s went straight to a landfill, doing my part in helping to remove them all from circulation by the earliest possible date. I never think about them except when a thread mentioning them pops up here. I still have my Dr. Ebbetts needledrops though, in addition to my '09s.

Not really. I do regret selling the vinyl copies of everything I had though, and then having to re-buy them when I got back into wax a few years back.
