Area - Maledetti CD question

    I have a question for the Italian prog fans on the forum. I recently bought Area's 1976 album "Maledetti" on CD from Amazon. It is on the Cramps label and the first half of the album sounds perfectly fine, but the second half is murky and muddy like I'm listening to an old cassette. I looked up a couple of the songs on YouTube and they sound very good, similar to the first half of the CD. Anyone know what happened here?
